Powerful Earthquake in Turkey: Casualties Reported
A powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 struck Turkey's southwestern coast. Turkish media outlets report that the tremors were registered at 02:17 local time, located 10.43 km off the coast of the city of Marmaris in the Mediterranean Sea.
The epicenter of the earthquake was recorded at a depth of 67.91 km. Preliminary reports indicate that a 14-year-old girl has lost her life, and 69 others have sustained injuries. Following the earthquake, residents have taken to the streets.
