«He Shouldn't Enter the 'Blizhni Boy'». Kocharian on Alen Simonian
There is one year left until the next elections. Whether there will be snap elections or not remains uncertain. This was announced by the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharian.
“I see a certain likelihood. It is clear that the political battles must intensify in the parliament. The coming year will continue in this manner. This struggle will be sharp. People know what they have done, and this awareness leads to nervous manifestations,” he said.
According to Kocharian, the role of the Speaker of the National Assembly is also provoking tension. “Alen Simonian does not understand that he is the Speaker of the Parliament, not the director. Those sitting above know they are directors. The mastery of the Speaker of the Parliament is to be able to communicate with all political entities. He should not enter the 'Blizhni Boy',” he stated. He added, “After every speech, there are comments, they fall into the melee.”
