Pakistan-India Conflict Escalates as Ceasefire Is Not Observed
The Pakistani military has reported that during clashes along the line of control, 40 civilians and 11 soldiers have been killed. Additionally, 121 people have been injured. This was reported by Geo TV, citing the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistani Army.
On May 10, the two sides had agreed to a ceasefire; however, just a few hours later, drones were spotted in several towns in Jammu and Kashmir, as well as in Punjab, leading to the activation of air defense systems.
Furthermore, earlier reports from Hindustan Times indicated that India would only negotiate with Pakistan at a military level, and no political communications would occur.
