That Country Poses a Threat to All of Europe, von der Leyen
The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, has reiterated that Russia allegedly poses a "threat to all of Europe" and has called on EU countries to place defense orders to support military efforts in Ukraine. Her words were quoted by RIA Novosti.
“Russia is a constant threat to all of Europe. Therefore, Ukraine must be strong enough to prevent any future attacks,” von der Leyen stated from the podium of the European Parliament.
She reminded that Europe has already supported Kyiv with €50 billion in military aid. Now, according to the head of the European Commission, the European Union must place orders directly with Ukraine's defense industry.
Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that there is no sense in Moscow attacking European countries. He emphasized that against the backdrop of elections, European authorities are actively scaring the population with the "Russian threat."
