Arrests Made in Connection with Explosion at Iranian Port
Iranian authorities have arrested two managers in connection with the explosion that occurred on April 26 at the Shahid Rajaee port in Bandar Abbas, Hormozgan province. This was reported by the Iranian SNN state news agency.
The incident resulted in 70 fatalities and injured 1,200 people.
"During the investigation, several suspects have been identified, including one manager from the public sector and one manager from a private company who have been detained," the statement said.
The investigation is ongoing, and investigators are currently considering negligence as the primary cause of the explosion at Shahid Rajaee port.
