Hail Damage in Artashat Affects Crops, Windows, and Roofs
Hail in Artashat has devastated all crops, leaving destruction in its wake. Andranik Kirakosyan, head of the Fatherland faction in the Artashat community council, stated this in an interview with MediaHub.
The downpour has not only harmed crops but also shattered the windows and roofs of many homes. "In 2023, five new anti-hail stations were installed in the districts of Vardashen, Arevshat, Vostan, Dghdzut, and Mrgavan. These were intended to serve the agricultural enterprises of the Artashat urban community. Today's heavy rains and hail have nearly wiped out all the crops, not counting the seedlings," Kirakosyan noted.
Many homes and shops have also been flooded. "It felt as though the stations had only been operational at 10%, just like the Iskander during the 44-day war. I don't understand how this government cannot do better than 10%," Kirakosyan added.
The hail also inflicted damage on greenhouse facilities.
