Earthquake in Armenia-Georgia Border Zone
On April 29, at 03:40 local time (23:40 GMT), the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations registered an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.3 at geographic coordinates of 41.10°N and 43.90°E, located 8 km southeast of the village of Bavra in the Armenia-Georgia border zone, at a depth of 10 km.
The intensity of the underground shock in the epicentral zone was measured at 4-5 points. The earthquake was felt in the villages of Bavra, Saragyugh, Ghazanchi, and Mets Sepasar in Shirak Province with an intensity of 3 points.
