Altercation After H1 Broadcast: Case Sent to Court
The preliminary investigation of the altercation involving political analysts Suren Sahakyan and Areg Kochinyan has been completed, and the case has been sent to court.
According to the indictment, on February 23, 2024, after the broadcast of H1 television's 'Various Opinions with Tatev Danielyan', Sahakyan and Kochinyan left the administrative building of the television company and, during a dispute in the courtyard, deliberately struck each other. As a result, Suren Sahakyan sustained light bodily injuries.
During the broadcast, the parties discussed potential avenues for diversifying Armenia's foreign policy.
