Liquid Gas Prices Fluctuated: I Kept Raising Alarm, MP Says
The MP of the Republic of Armenia, Garnik Danielyan, writes: "In recent months, I have been continuously raising alarms about the unclear situation prevailing in the liquid gas market. We have witnessed different prices in various regions of Armenia. The price of liquid gas fluctuated between 90 to 200 drams. I have made numerous speeches in the National Assembly regarding this issue and have sent letters to the relevant authorities. I also established contact with the Commission for the Protection of Competition, proposing that a study be conducted in the sector to uncover the reasons behind the fluctuation of liquid gas prices and the different pricing policies employed by the operators. Our persistence seems to yield results. From recent observations, I can note that the issue has been resolved. I will continue daily monitoring to keep the issue in focus."
