Armenia and Iran Ready to Collaborate on Weaponry, Intelligence, and Other Aspects
Armenia and Iran are ready to establish cooperation in areas such as arms supply, intelligence data exchange, and other security aspects. This was announced on April 3 during a conversation with reporters by Pooya Hoseini, the head of the Foundation for the Development of Armenia-Iran Cooperation.
"Iran is prepared to provide support to Armenia. Third parties, which hinder our relations (including Western countries), should not interfere," he stated.
Hoseini emphasized that trade between Armenia and Iran has increased from $300 million to $700 million, and both countries aim to raise that figure to $1 billion, and eventually to $3 billion.
