The Court Hearing Against Former Leaders of Artsakh Will Continue in Baku
Today in Baku, the next staged court hearing will take place concerning the former military-political leaders of Artsakh and civilians. It should be noted that a total of 15 individuals have been involved in this case, including former Presidents of Artsakh Araik Harutyunyan, Arkadi Ghukasian, and Bako Sahakyan, former Speaker of the National Assembly David Ishkhanyan, former Chief of the Defense Army General Staff David Manukyan, former Foreign Minister David Babayan, former commander of the Defense Army Levon Mnatsakanyan, and civilians Vasili Beglaryan, Erik Ghazaryan, David Alaverdyan, Gurgen Stepanyan, Levon Balayan, Madat Babayan, Garik Martirosyan, and Melikset Pashayan.
They are charged with “terrorism,” “war crimes,” “genocide,” and other “offenses.” It is worth recalling that the case of former State Minister Ruben Vardanyan is being examined separately.
