Iran Calls on Europe
Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi expressed disappointment during a telephone conversation with his British counterpart David Laming regarding the recent actions of the "European trio" (United Kingdom, Germany, and France), particularly due to the imposition of new anti-Iranian sanctions.
Noting that four rounds of negotiations have already been held between delegations from Iran and the three European countries, the Foreign Minister voiced frustration over the actions of the European countries and the EU, particularly concerning the new sanctions, and called on the three European nations to revise their approaches and methods towards Iran.
As Araghchi stated, "Iran does not accept the use of diplomacy as a tool for political and psychological pressure."
