Precipitation Expected, Snow in Mountainous Areas
In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, rainfall is expected in certain regions after noon on March 18, and from March 19 to 22, significant precipitation is anticipated in most areas, particularly in mountainous regions where snow will fall, especially at night. From March 19 to 20, heavy precipitation is likely in some areas. This information is provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.
The wind will be southwesterly, with speeds of 2-5 m/s. On March 19-20, wind intensification is expected in some areas, with speeds of 15-19 m/s, while on March 18, speeds will reach 20-25 m/s.
The air temperature is expected to gradually decrease by 8-10 degrees during the day from March 19 to 22, and by 10-12 degrees in Lori, Tavush, and Syunik regions.
In Yerevan, rain is expected late on March 18, with the possibility of thunderstorms on March 19-22. The temperature in the capital will be around 22-24 degrees Celsius during the day on March 18, while at night, it will drop to +10...+12 degrees.
