Zelensky Apologizes to Trump
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has sent a letter of apology to Trump following a heated argument in the Oval Office. This was announced on Fox News by Trump's special envoy, Steve Whitkoff.
"Zelensky has sent a letter to the president, apologizing for the entire incident that took place in the Oval Office. I think this was an important step, and there were many discussions between our teams and the Ukrainians and Europeans who are also involved in this discussion," said Whitkoff, noting that he considers Zelensky's apology a sign of "progress." This week, officials from the U.S. and Ukraine will meet in Saudi Arabia to continue peace negotiations aimed at ending the war with Russia.
