A resident of the Mezravan village in the enlarged community of Parakar has shared details with NEWS.am about the bloody incident that resulted in a death.
According to him, everything started after a remark was made about speeding in the village area. The person who was reprimanded was also among their friends and came to the celebration. The individual whom he had warned gathered a group 1-2 hours later and went to the village mayor's house with stones and wooden objects, knowing that the person who had reprimanded him was there. They called him outside, and after about 15-20 minutes, a fight broke out involving hand-to-hand combat, stones, and wooden blows, followed by gunfire.
Grigor Ohanyan attempted to mediate and separate them but was struck by a bullet, ultimately dying outside. Another person was injured and is currently hospitalized. Neighbors have reported that the murdered individual was 30-year-old Grigor Ohanyan, who had recently gotten engaged and was preparing for marriage. He tried to help his relatives, and the gunfire also hit him.
