Photo: Archaeologists Discover 7,000-Year-Old 'Alien Head' in Desert

A team of archaeologists has uncovered a strange artifact during excavations in the Bahra desert region of Kuwait, dating back approximately 7,000 years. The artifact is a small clay figurine resembling an elongated alien head with slanted eyes and cut nostrils. This discovery, reported by Live Science, came as a complete surprise to the entire team, according to expedition leader Agnieszka Simchak.

This is the first such finding in the Gulf region. Researchers also note that the purpose of the statue remains unclear; it may have held a ceremonial significance.
