Galuzin on the Azerbaijan-Nakhchivan Route through Syunik Region
A universal understanding has been reached on how to restore the railway communication between Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan, stated Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin.
“I must say that we have already achieved significant results in numerous areas of regulation with our Armenian and Azerbaijani partners. I would like to discuss the unblocking of regional transport communications, primarily railway transport.
Within the framework of the trilateral working group led by the deputy prime ministers, a general understanding has been reached on how to restore railway communication,” Galuzin said in an interview with “Russia 24.”
He specifically noted that this concerns the route from Azerbaijan to Nakhchivan through Armenia's Syunik region.
