Macron to Appoint New Prime Minister Within Next 48 Hours
French President Emmanuel Macron intends to appoint a new Prime Minister within the next 48 hours. This was reported by Le Parisien, citing participants in a meeting between the head of state and representatives of political parties.
The meeting, which lasted about two hours, included representatives from all major political parties in the French National Assembly (the lower house of Parliament).
