Candidates for the Republican Party for the Mayor of Gyumri Revealed

The start of the primaries, as stated by Nikol Pashinyan, has already been announced. Since yesterday, self-nominations for the temporary position of the Mayor of Gyumri have begun, which will last until December 2 at 12:00 PM. The Republican Party members are actively negotiating with local supporters and party members and are preparing for a serious presentation. This was reported by Hraparak.am.

It was previously reported that the grandson of the mother-in-law of Prime Minister Anna Hakobyan, Vahagn Mkrtchyan, has announced his candidacy. The media learned that two candidates have made a clear decision and are preparing to self-nominate today. The first is Shavarsh Aramyan, a member of the Gyumri City Council from the Republican Party, while the other is Artem Tumanyan, a staunch supporter of Pashinyan, known to Gyumri residents as a singer-actor.

Shavarsh Aramyan stated that his participation is currently in the preliminary discussion phase, adding that he has a desire to run. Artem Tumanyan also mentioned that Gyumri currently has its needs and following the will of the people, he is taking this step.
