Commander of Russian Forces 'Yug' Group Dismissed from Position
The commander of the Russian forces 'Yug' group, Colonel General Gennady Anashkin, has been dismissed from his position, according to military correspondents and bloggers. The reason for his dismissal was cited as 'misinformation and misleading orders.' The author of the Rybar Telegram channel claims that the change of command in 'Yug' is a consequence of issues on the northern front.
Specifically, in the Siversk direction, Anashkin reportedly failed to inform the high command about the true state of affairs.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has not yet commented on the reports regarding Anashkin's dismissal.
