Ukraine Loses More Than 40 Percent of Territory Captured in Kursk
Ukraine has lost more than 40 percent of the territory it captured during an unexpected incursion into Russia's Kursk region, a senior Ukrainian military source informed Reuters.
“At our peak, we controlled approximately 1,376 square kilometers; now, of course, this area is significantly smaller as the enemy is increasing its counteroffensive efforts,” said a representative of Ukraine's General Staff to the news agency.
Official Moscow has not responded to Reuters' inquiries regarding the situation in the Kursk region.
