Queues continue to grow as a result of the introduction of the new ticketing system in the metro. The Yerevan Municipality claims to have "solved" the transportation issue, as noted by Facebook user Tsolak Akopyan, who posted a video of the lines.

It should be reminded that Yerevan Metro will completely abandon the tokens for fare payment by the end of October. This transition is due to the shift to a unified payment system for transportation. This was stated by the head of the department, Babken Sedrakyan, during a meeting held at the municipality.
