1250 Trees to be Cut Down in Yerevan
1250 trees are set to be cut down in Yerevan. These trees are either hazardous or dead.
The work for the mass cutting of emergency, at-risk, and dead trees has already commenced in Yerevan. There are currently 1250 cutting permits available.
The municipal authorities have announced that the work will take place on central streets and in courtyard areas. Although the areas around schools and kindergartens do not fall within the organization’s service domain, dangerous dead trees in those areas will be removed as a response to requests.
The wood material will be provided to low-income families.
