State Department on Armenian-Turkish Relations Negotiations

The Deputy Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State, Vedant Patel, refrained from commenting on the negotiations regarding the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations. "I have no comments. I would allow both interested countries to speak about this issue," Patel said during a press briefing when asked by reporters about the fifth meeting of the envoys of Armenia and Turkey and the negotiations in general.

It should be noted that the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on the outcomes of the meeting between the special representatives of Armenia and Turkey at the Margara border crossing on July 30.
