Earthquake in Turkey: What is Known
An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.4 has struck the Eastern Anatolia region of Turkey. This has been reported by the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority of Turkey (AFAD).
According to the agency, the tremors were recorded at 05:52 local time (06:52 Yerevan time). It is noted that the epicenter of the earthquake was located in the Yesilyurt district of the Malatya city, while the focus was at a depth of 10.83 km.
So far, there have been no reports of injuries or destruction resulting from the tremors.
