Weather Forecast for the Coming Days
In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, from June 9 to 13, rain and thunderstorms are expected intermittently in many regions, with heavy rainfall in some areas and possible hail. This information is provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations.
"On June 9, a rise in water levels is expected in the rivers of the republic, particularly significant in the Debed, Akhuryan, and on the southern shore of Lake Sevan," the statement notes.
It is mentioned that the wind will be south-west at a speed of 3-5 m/s, with gusts during thunderstorms reaching 18-23 m/s. The air temperature is gradually expected to decrease by 6-10 degrees during daytime hours.
In Yerevan as well, from June 9 to 13, intermittent rain and thunderstorms are expected, with possible intense rainfall and hail in certain areas of the city. During thunderstorms, wind gusts are forecasted to reach 16-20 m/s.
