Health Ministry Updates on Condition of Gas Station Explosion Victims
The health condition of six individuals injured in the explosion at the gas station located along the Yerevan-Sevan highway remains unchanged. Mariam Tsatryan, the press secretary of the Minister of Health of Armenia, informed Auroranews during an interview.
“The condition of two patients continues to be extremely critical, while the condition of the other four is assessed as moderate,” the spokesperson noted.
It is worth mentioning that on June 6, around 23:10, an explosion occurred at a gas filling station located at the 16th km mark of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, which resulted in a fire outbreak. As a result of the explosion, seven individuals were hospitalized with varying degrees of bodily injuries (one has since been discharged after receiving necessary assistance), and the condition of two remains extremely critical. The explosion also damaged the gas station's structures, as well as a residential house and several vehicles in the surrounding area.
