Direct Flights Between Yerevan and New Delhi to Launch on June 1
The duration of the direct flight is approximately 7 hours, with the average price of round-trip tickets being 350,000 AMD.
Starting June 1, direct flights will be launched between Armenia and India. This information was announced on the official website of Armenia Airways. Tickets for the Yerevan-New Delhi route are already available on the website.
It is worth noting that on May 8, 2023, during an Armenian-Indian conference, the Ambassador of India in Armenia, Nilakshi Saha Sinha, stated that efforts are underway to establish direct air communication between the two countries. The diplomat mentioned that the establishment of direct flights between Yerevan and New Delhi is one of the key issues for the development of cooperation, and both governments are taking steps in this direction.
Additionally, it should be mentioned that direct flights on the Yerevan-New Delhi route were previously operated by the Armavia airline in 2009, which later went bankrupt.
