Police Chief of Tavush Division Provides Clarification on Situation in Kiran
The National Security Service border troops are conducting specific operations regarding the management of the borders, which means that, based on the operational situation and the residents of the village, the entry of other people into the village is temporarily prohibited.
This was reported to journalists by the Police Chief of the Tavush Division, who noted that this is the reason why the police are conducting checks. The police chief stated that he cannot say how long the road will remain closed.
It is worth mentioning that a group of MPs managed to reach Kiran through a field road. Currently, there are numerous citizens near Kiran who are being barred from entering the village. Earlier, the National Security Service announced that the entry of citizens without registration into the settlement of Kiran has been temporarily restricted.
