Demand to Hold Pashinyan Accountable Sent to NSS
The Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia has sent a request from lawyer Ara Zohrapyan to the National Security Service (NSS) to hold Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan criminally accountable in connection with the initiation of the process of handing over Armenia's sovereign territories and Tavush settlements to Azerbaijan. This was announced in the National Assembly by Armenia's Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan.
“The application included certain documents, including copies of property certificates, the authenticity of which needed verification. We have sent it to the NSS, requesting that they present us with the results of appropriate operational verification, so that the issue of whether to initiate proceedings can be discussed,” she said.
It is recalled that earlier, a report on the crimes under Articles 418 and 421 of the Armenian Criminal Code was submitted to the Prosecutor General’s Office demanding criminal accountability for Nikol Pashinyan in connection with the initiation of the process of handing over Armenia's sovereign territories and settlements in Tavush to Azerbaijan.
