39-Year-Old Man Charged for Stabbing Car Tires in Kiran
A 39-year-old resident of Yerevan has been charged with damaging the tires of a vehicle with a knife near the village of Kiran. This information was disclosed by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
According to the Committee, on April 27, around 2:30 PM, participants of a gathering stopped a "Mercedes" vehicle traveling from Yerevan to Koti. They demanded that the driver open the trunk of the car.
As reported, using a secretly acquired knife, a 17-year-old participant of the gathering inflicted damage on the tires of the mentioned vehicle. Based on sufficient evidence, the 17-year-old has been charged under Part 3 of Article 297 of the RA Criminal Code, and a precautionary measure of restriction of absence has been imposed on him. Meanwhile, the 39-year-old man has been charged under Part 3 of Article 297 of the RA Criminal Code for hooliganism. The court has decided to apply house arrest as a precautionary measure, combined with the restriction of absence.
