The Number of Victims and Injured from the Bus Accident in Syunik Has Increased
On April 27, at 17:27, an alert was received by the National Crisis Management Center indicating that a bus had veered off the roadway near the village of Verin Khotan in the Syunik region and rolled into a gorge.
An operational group from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue service, led by Colonel D. Hovhannisyan, along with one combat team from the fire-rescue squad and one team from the Agvan primary care station, was dispatched to the scene.
According to preliminary data, there are four fatalities and nine injured. Efforts at the site are ongoing.
