CSTO States It Does Not Recognize Armenia's Borders, Says Mirzoyan
The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) states that it does not recognize Armenia's borders and that its area of responsibility in the South Caucasus is unclear. This was announced today by Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during a broadcast on Public Television, adding that the situation is much worse than it appears.
According to the minister, there is a certain absurdity in the situation: "There is a theoretical absurdity here—if a non-CSTO member state attacks a CSTO member state and forces the recognition of certain borders, the CSTO may acknowledge it."
