Snow, Blocked Roads: Current Situation in Armenia
The roads from the 'Amberd' high mountain meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd fortress and the Kari lake are closed. The section of the M-2 road leading to the city of Jermuk is blocked in both directions due to a landslide.
The Vardenyats Pass (snow-covered) is impassable for trucks with trailers, while the Vanadzor-Dilijan road is closed to all types of vehicles. In the Lori region, snow is reported in the areas of Aparan, Aragats, Gavar, and Sevan, as well as in the city of Hrazdan, in the bends of Dilijan, and in the section known as Saravan-'Zanger'.
According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is closed for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
