Iran's Ambassador to Armenia Discusses Possible Border Demarcation in Tavush
There is a direct connection between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and the arising issues should be resolved through dialogue. This was stated by Mehdi Sobhani, Iran's Ambassador to Armenia, in an interview with Sputnik Armenia and Public Television, addressing the potential border demarcation in Tavush.
“We hope that the issues that have arisen will be resolved based on dialogue and mutual understanding. War has never been a solution to any problem. The result of war is the disruption of security and the collapse of everything,” said the ambassador.
It is noteworthy that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan mentioned during a meeting with residents of the village of Voskepar in Tavush that there could be war by the end of the week if the Armenian side refuses to discuss the issues of border demarcation and delimitation with Azerbaijan.
