‘Yerevan City’ Fined 10 Million Drams; Other Offenders Also Penalized
In February 2024, there were 150 cases of violations regarding the use of cash register machines, resulting in fines totaling 52.45 million drams, as reported by the press service of the State Revenue Committee.
Among the recorded violations, four cases involved fines of 1.0 million drams or more, amounting to a total of 15.5 million drams for those four taxpayers.
The four taxpayers fined 1.0 million drams or more for violating cash register usage rules are: 'Rostov Don' grocery store receiving a fine of 1,733,987 drams, HOME grocery store with a fine of 1,109,109 drams, 'Yerevan City' being fined 10,000,000 drams, and 'Haypost' with a fine of 2,659.9 drams,” the report indicates.
Fines for violations of cash register machine usage rules have also been applied in fields such as banking, credit, insurance or other financial activities, and transport services.
