Dense Fog in Vardenyats Pass, Visibility Reduced to 1-2 Meters
As of March 18 at 17:00, snow is falling in the Vardenyats and Saravani passes, as well as in the regions of Jermuk, Aparan, Aragats, Artik, Ashotsk, Sevan, and Gavarr. Rain is being reported in the regions of Ararat, Sisian, Goris, Meghri, Abovyan, Talin, Baghramyan, Akhuryan, Dilijan, and Nairi.
In Vardenyats Pass, dense fog is present with visibility reduced to 1-2 meters. All inter-state and republican roads are open. Road builders are carrying out cleaning and treatment work with salt and sand on the roads.
To avoid accidents, incidents, and traffic jams, drivers are advised to use winter tires exclusively.
