Information on Roads in Armenia and Lars
The Rescue Service informs that there are closed roads within the Republic of Armenia. The roads from the 'Amberd' high-altitude meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd Fortress and the Kar River are currently closed.
Regarding Lars, based on information received from the Georgian Interior Ministry's Emergency Management Agency and the Russian Emergency Ministry's North Ossetia Crisis Management Center, the Stepanavan-Lars road is closed for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel only with winter tires.
