The resolution condemns the invasion of Azerbaijani military forces into Armenia's internationally recognized territories and the ongoing occupation of certain parts, as well as reiterating its demand for the withdrawal of Azerbaijani troops from all sovereign Armenian territory.
Members of the European Parliament express concern over statements by the President of Azerbaijan and other officials threatening Armenia's territorial integrity and sovereignty, including demands for an external corridor connecting Azerbaijan to Nakhchivan.
The resolution emphasizes that the road connecting Azerbaijan to Nakhchivan should be resolved with respect for Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and once again reaffirms the EU's unequivocal support for Armenia's sovereignty and the inviolability of its borders.
