European Parliament Adopts Resolution to Consider Armenia's EU Membership Candidate Status
The European Parliament has adopted a resolution that proposes to consider the possibility of Armenia's candidacy for EU membership, with 504 delegates voting in favor, 4 against, and 32 abstaining.
The resolution was presented by members of the European Parliament, stating that if Armenia is interested in obtaining candidate status and continues along the path of stable reforms that strengthen democracy, this could serve as a basis for a transformative phase in EU-Armenia relations.
