Counterfeit Banknotes Found with 17-Year-Old from Gundevaz
The employees of the Vayk department of the National Police of Armenia discovered and arrested a 17-year-old teenager from Gundevaz on February 28 at the intersection of the Jermuk highway and the road leading to the Arin settlement.
During a personal search, a counterfeit weapon and various nominal value counterfeit rubles and drams were found in his possession. The teenager stated that he acquired them through an order placed online from the 'Wildberries' online store. He also mentioned that approximately ten days ago, he had used a counterfeit banknote of nominal value 10,000 in a toy store located on the first floor of one of the buildings on the Jermuk highway in Vayk.
At the request of the police, the owner of the mentioned store presented the counterfeit banknote. The 17-year-old has been arrested and the necessary documents have been prepared for submission to the regional investigative department of Vayots Dzor.
