At the Request of the Ombudsman, the Rapid Response Group is Currently on Lvovyan Street
The Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan has tasked the rapid response group to be on Lvovyan Street in the Nor Nork administrative district of Yerevan.
Earlier, reports were received on the hotline of the Ombudsman’s office regarding the demolition of residential buildings located in socially significant areas on Lvovyan Street. Specifically, citizens have reported that they have been living in these buildings for years and currently have no option to move to another residence or to transport their personal belongings.
Based on these reports, as well as public information, an investigation procedure has been initiated at the request of the Ombudsman. In order to obtain relevant clarifications, communication has been established with representatives of the Yerevan City Hall.
To gather complete information regarding the raised issue, a letter will be sent to the Yerevan City Hall. This matter is under the direct attention of the Human Rights Defender.
