The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, has announced that the year 2024 will be a challenging one for Kyiv. He expressed this view in an interview with the Financial Times.
“To say that everything is fine would not be accurate,” Budanov admitted.
As noted by FT journalists, the chief intelligence officer understands that the current year will be difficult for Ukraine. At the same time, he declined to provide any precise predictions regarding the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), as stated in the article.
