We Do Not Intend to Occupy Gaza After the Fighting Ends, Netanyahu
The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, has stated that Israel does not intend to occupy the Gaza Strip after the fighting concludes or relocate the enclave's peaceful population.
Israel is currently engaged in combat against Hamas terrorists. According to Netanyahu, Israeli soldiers are making efforts to minimize civilian casualties, while Hamas is doing everything possible to maximize those casualties by using Palestinian civilians as human shields.
