Armenia to Sign Peace Treaty with Azerbaijan and Subsequently Chair EAEU
The Russian publication "Kommersant", citing sources from Aliyev's administration, has reported that Armenia and Azerbaijan hope to sign a peace treaty immediately after the New Year.
The source states: "Armenia is preparing to conclude a peace treaty with Azerbaijan, after which it will lead the EAEU. Ahead of the CIS summit held in St. Petersburg, Nikol Pashinyan and Ilham Aliyev are closer than ever to signing a peace treaty and bringing closure to a 30-year conflict, unlike all previous meetings."
