It’s Time They Realized the Total Deadlock of War: Lavrov
Vladimir Zelensky has evidently failed to meet the expectations of Western countries; it’s time for NATO and the EU to recognize the complete deadlock of the war initiated against Russia by his regime. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. The information was reported by RIA Novosti.
“You hear assessments coming from sober-minded politicians in NATO and the European Union. Better late than never. It’s time they realized the total deadlock of the war they initiated through Zelensky's regime against the Russian Federation,” Lavrov said during a press conference following a meeting of the collegiums of the Russian and Belarusian Foreign Ministries.
He noted that Moscow is hearing talks suggesting that it’s time for NATO and EU countries to cut down on the assistance provided to Ukraine.
“Moreover, these are not just talks. Specific difficulties are already arising in both Europe and the USA in finding free funds to continue supporting Zelensky’s regime, which clearly failed to meet expectations and was unable to play the role of a tool to undermine the security of the Russian Federation—destroying our shared history, culture, and wiping out the entire Russian language in the regions this regime continues to control,” the minister added.
