Let a Peace Agreement Follow: Luazo
The head of the European Parliament’s Subcommittee on Security and Defence, Nathalie Loiseau, welcomed the announcement from Armenia and Azerbaijan, calling it a ray of hope. She made this statement on her microblog on X.
“Let a peace agreement follow,” wrote the French lawmaker, recalling that Armenia and Azerbaijan have reached an agreement on prisoner exchanges.
It is noteworthy that on December 7, the Office of the Prime Minister of Armenia and the Office of the President of Azerbaijan published a joint statement. As a result of negotiations between the two offices, an agreement was reached for Azerbaijan to release 32 Armenian servicemen, while Armenia would release 2 Azerbaijani servicemen in return.
