New Details on the Earthquake Recorded in Armenia
On November 13, at 18:58 (GMT 14:58), the seismic network of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia recorded an earthquake at a geographical coordinate of 39.48° north latitude and 44.62° east longitude, located 23 km northeast of the city of Makou, Iran, with a depth of 10 km and a magnitude of 4.3. The intensity of the underground shock in the epicentral zone was measured at 5-6 points.
The Emergency Situations Service reported that the earthquake was felt in the Ararat and Vayots Dzor regions with an intensity of 3-4 points, as well as in Yerevan city with a 2-3 point intensity. Earlier, it was reported that an earthquake was registered in Armenia.
