Sister of Fallen Soldier Who Is in Detention Has Health Deterioration and Faints in Cell, Lawyer Says
The health condition of Tatevik Virabyan, the detained sister of fallen soldier Gevorg Virabyan, who died during the 44-day war in Artsakh, has sharply deteriorated. This information was reported by lawyer Arsen Babayan.
“Late yesterday evening, Tatevik Virabyan's health condition deteriorated significantly. She became so unwell that she fainted in her cell. With medical intervention, Tatevik's condition has stabilized, and she is now under the supervision of prison medical staff,” the lawyer stated. He emphasized that a psychiatrist has been brought in to assist.
Babayan also noted that they have reached out to the Human Rights Defender for a prompt response and have received the necessary intervention.
It was previously reported that Tatevik Virabyan was arrested on September 24 for inciting violence. It should be noted that she has been detained for a duration of 2 months.
