Hostages Killed in Israeli Airstrikes in Gaza, Including Foreign Nationals: Hamas
Hamas has announced that 13 hostages held in Gaza were killed during Israeli airstrikes.
According to a statement from Hamas, among the hostages killed in the airstrikes over the last 24 hours are both Israelis and foreigners. They were reportedly killed by Israeli jets in five different locations.
Hamas had captured around 150 individuals during its incursion into Israel on October 7, intending to exchange them for Palestinians imprisoned in Israel and the United States.
In the last six days of conflict, Israel has reported about 1,300 deaths. The death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 1,537.
Israel has declared war on Hamas and has also initiated a complete blockade of Gaza, halting the entry of water, electricity, fuel, food, and other supplies.
